About Campus Theatre & The Drama Coalition
Across its three campuses and seven colleges, the University of Toronto is home to a variety of different dramatic societies and theatrical clubs. From plays and musicals to festivals and improv, U of T's campus theatre community has something for everyone!

Founded in the early 1990s, the University of Toronto Drama Coalition was created to organize events and build community between Campus Theatre groups. As the unifying element between the many groups, our goal is to advocate, recognize, and celebrate Campus Theatre. We share resources and help promote campus theatre and opportunities for students. The Drama Coalition is also responsible for running two primary events unifying campus theatre: an annual drama festival for new student-written works and an awards ceremony at the end of each season.

The UofT Drama Coalition is administratively and financially supported by Hart House Theatre with
the Coalition’s President reporting at the Theatre’s Student Standing Committee.
