In order to celebrate fantastic U of T campus theatre talent, the Drama Coalition hosts an annual awards ceremony. "The Dougie Awards" (the campus theatre "Tony Awards"; named after Hart House's own Doug Floyd) are hosted at the end of the second semester as a fun night honouring student talent and completion of the season's hard work. The Drama Coalition Executive Team votes on a ballot for the winners of each award after a year of watching every campus theatre production. Only current U of T students can be nominated and win a Drama Coalition award.
