In order to celebrate fantastic U of T campus theatre talent, the Drama Coalition hosts an annual awards ceremony yearly on the last day of classes. "The Dougie Awards" (the campus theatre "Tony Awards"; named after Hart House's own Doug Floyd) honour student talent and completion of the season's hard work. The Drama Coalition Executive Team votes on a ballot for the winners of each award after a year of watching every campus theatre production. Only current U of T students can be nominated and win a Drama Coalition award.
